The Black Stallion FD10 model Denim work pants feature a relaxed fit with a classic 5-pocket jean design. These FR denim pants are machine washable with FR protection through 100 home washes. Lighter weight 10.5 oz. 99% cotton/1% spandex flame-resistant stretch denim. High quality brass zipper with flame-resistant aramid zipper tape. Brass button waistband closure. Stitched with rugged flame-resistant aramid threads. NFPA 2112; NFPA 70E, ATPV 15 cal/cm2 (PPE Cat 2).. **NOTE: FR (flame-resistant) garments are light weight breathable protection that is mainly used for light welding, cutting, and grinding. ‘Flame-resistant’ means when a spark(s) lands on the garment, the garment will extinguish itself (it wont continue to burn) and somethimes the spark can create a hole on the garment. Consider leather for full protection for applications that are more than light-duty welding, cutting, and grinding.
